Ku Nye (Tib. བསྐུ་མཉེ།) is the therapeutic massage practice of Traditional Tibetan Medicine. Earliest Tibetans practiced Ku Nye through the diagnosis and application of specific infused oil or substances and exertion of pressure on different parts and points of the body in order to both prevent disease and restore the individual to a state of health and wellbeing.

Rural Pure Land Farms offer the perfect environment to learn and practice this method of massage in an in-depth way. Sessions of healing meditation and yoga practices will complement the study, there will be ample times for hands-on practice, preparation of herbal oils based on one’s constitution, and discussion over shared meals.

In this Sorig Khang International level one training participants will learn:

• Fundamentals of Tibetan Medicine and typology

• Client assessment

• Indications & contraindications

• Preparation & use of herbal oils

• Body mobilization

• Application of heat & cold

• Massage techniques for tissues, channels, & points
