ARTS AND CULTURE

The Tibetan name of the Medicine Buddha’s Pure Land, Tanaduk means ‘beautiful to behold.’ In modeling our physical centers on this magical spiritual dimension, we have placed special emphasis on the aesthetics. Natural landscapes, gardens, and sacred spaces thoughtfully designed according to traditional geomantic principles, support healing and contemplation, and encourage creative expression that celebrates the diversity and fullness of human experience and culture.

The non-sectarian nature of the Medicine Buddha’s garden invites sincere seekers and wisdom holders of all traditions, inspiring cross-cultural dialogue and exchange that benefits all, regardless of religious beliefs.

We believe in the nourishing power of the arts to heal, and the capacity of music to act as a form of transmission, guiding us into deeper states of self-awareness and connection.

Inspired by the Tibetan goddess of wisdom, higher learning, music, and the arts, Pure Land Farms partners with Yangchenma to offer arts and cultural programming, including courses on the topics of Tibetan thangka painting, Nepali sacred dance, and other contemplative and healing arts.

We curate intimate music performances celebrating unique world cultures.
