Group Mantra Accumulation Practice
Batshima Mantra
9am & 7pm (Los Angeles Time Zone)
Two Sessions
The Batshima (“Four Bat”) mantra is a powerful healing mantra of Padampa Sangye. In order to use this mantra, it must first be accumulated 6000 times. It should be accumulated all in one night (preferably in the dark) on the evening before the new moon. This generally takes 6 - 8 hours depending on one’s speed.
This practice is open to anyone who has completed Mantra Level One training or received the transmission for this mantra in a Mantra Healing introductory course with Dr. Nida Chenagtsang, Drukmo Gyal or Sorig Khang International authorized teachers.
To support our international community living in different time zones, we will offer this program in the morning time (Los Angeles time zone) so that those living in Europe can start their practice in the evening time. Then we will meet again on the same Zoom link at 7pm to continue practice. Each session will be approximately one hour. You may come to one or both sessions.
As this is also the protector day according to the Tibetan lunar calendar, we will begin our morning practice with Shanglon protector practice.
To “mantrify”/ empower substances with this practice, please place containers of water, salt, or massage oils in the space where you are practicing. Leave the containers open. At the end of your recitations blow on the substances and then close the containers. You can share these substances with others for their benefit.
Tip: Mantra water can be used “homeopathically” — after empowering the water, you can make it last for a long time by adding only a small bit ( a dropperful for example) into a cup of water before drinking.
We recommend that you practice reciting the mantra to get more familiar with it and to try to memorize it (if possible) beforehand.
