ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
In this innovative workshop, Dr. Nida presents the ancient wisdom of Tibetan Dream Yoga as a powerful modality for mental health practitioners. Participants will explore how our dreamscape serves as a mirror to our waking psychological landscape, revealing unresolved emotions and subconscious patterns that often remain hidden during conscious awareness. Through both theoretical foundations and practical techniques, participants will learn how recognize dreams as gateways to psychological insight and emotional healing.
The course examines how dream yoga practices can help identify and transform obstacles, release deeply held trauma, and resolve psychological blockages that manifest in both dreams and waking life. By familiarizing themselves with these techniques, practitioners will add a unique dimension to their therapeutic toolkit—one that honors the mind's natural capacity for self-healing through conscious dreamwork. This approach bridges Eastern contemplative traditions with Western psychological frameworks, offering an integrative path toward emotional resilience and psychological wholeness.
This course will combine theory with practical dreamwork and traditional Tibetan Dream Yoga meditation practices from the Yuthok Nyingthig tradition.
Included in this course will be dialogues with Dr. Caroline Van Damme, adult psychiatrist and family and systemic psychotherapist and co-teacher with Dr. Nida of SRI's Sowa Rigpa Counselor training. The program will be livestreamed from their Counselor retreat during Dr Van Damme's first visit to Pure Land Farms!
This practice is open to all however it is particularly suited to counselors and those in the field of mental health.
