FOUNDATIONS OF TIBETAN YOGA THREE PART TRAINING
Part One: Yuthok Nyingthig Tsalung Trulkhor I
Part Two: Yuthok Nyingthig Tsalung Trulkhor II
Part Three: Yuthok Nyingthig Tummo Yoga
(Prerequisites for Part Three will include participation in Part One or Part Two)
ABOUT THIS RETREAT:
In this five day, in-person retreat, participants will continue their studies on the tsalung/trulkhor or “winds and channels,” according the Yuthok Nyingthik (Heart Essence) tradition – the spiritual tradition which forms part of the legacy of Yuthok, father of Tibetan Medicine.
Yuthok Nyingthik tsalung involves accessory practices to the practice of inner fire (tummo) as well as other branches of the completion phase. It is unique in it’s presentation of these yogic methods – especially with regard to the clarity of the instructions. This gathering will explore these practices in relation to formal meditation.
Level Two is an intermediate/advanced retreat, training, participants will continue to train in practices related to the bindu, thigle or essence drops.
This retreat prepares participants to progress on into Level three, which will be dedicated to Tummo, trulkhor, and special applications of these bodily exercises.
PREREQUISITES:
This retreat is more intensive in nature, and the trulkhor exercises themselves require foundational training. Registration will be prioritized toward those who have completed the Yuthok Nyingthig Trulkhor One cohorts.
