Group Nejang with Katy Tinsley
Nejang is a gentle healing yoga practice consisting of twenty four simple physical exercises which use breath work and self-massage to open the channels, balance the internal energies, relax the mind, and nourish the inner organs. With roots in the Kalachakra tradition, such exercises have been prescribed by Tibetan physicians for centuries to improve health and vitality and to support spiritual practice.
Soundbath by Elina Pavlidis with group acupuncture from Dr. Bryan Watrous
Harmonic rich instruments (such as singing bowl, gong, harmonium etc.) naturally induce a parasympathetic response, slowing down heart rate and shifting brainwave activity. This facilitates a state of self-regeneration for the body and opens a container for the psyche to reshuffle perception and self-heal. Restorative acupuncture will be provided while you receive the healing energy of sound.
Katy Bird compassionately shares Nejang yoga to promote healing, wellbeing and joy. She is a graduate of Sowa Rigpa Institute’s Yoga Practitioner program and a certified Nejang instructor. With extensive experience in the education system Katy’s passion for the Dharma communicates a comfortable and fun approach to movement and growth.
Elina Pavlidis is a multidisciplinary experience creator. She weaves together her knowledge of Sound Therapy, Jivamukti Yoga, Mayan Shamanism, Yikara, Psych-K, Holographic Healing, Vajrayana Tantra, applied Kinesiology, Heart-Yoga, Sowa Rigpa and the Gene Keys.
