VIRTUAL YUTHOK NYINGTHIG RETREAT

In support of those who wish to take advantage of these challenging circumstances to engage in a seven-day Yuthok Nyingthig retreat at home, we have coordinated a remote semi-guided retreat. The retreat will include one two hour daily session guided by Christiana Polites in Ngöndro preliminary practices and Outer Guru Yoga practice as well as a suggested schedule for you to structure the rest of your home retreat according to your time zone. Access to digital practice texts will be provided as well as a forum for asking questions and group discussion.
The daily guided session is especially designed for those who wish to engage in the complete seven day traditional retreat, however, it also open to anyone who would like gain greater familiarization and support in the Yuthok Nyingthig practices.
Please note: All of these online offerings will be recorded. If you are unable to join the event live but would still like to attend, please RSVP within the event and you will be e-mailed a link to download the recording at the completion of the program.
There are three different options to participate in this retreat:
OPTION ONE: Ngöndro (Preliminary Practices) Retreat
Recommended if first time practicing Yuthok Nyingthig
OPTION TWO: Guru Yoga (Outer or Inner) Retreat
Recommended if you have already completed Ngöndro retreat
OPTION THREE: Combined Ngöndro and Outer Guru Yoga Retreat
Recommended if you are a practitioner of a different lineage and would like to connect with the Yuthok Nyingthig lineage, or if you are a Yuthok Nyingthig practitioner and have already completed Ngöndro and Outer Guru Yoga but would like to reconnect with these essential practices.
Daily Group Online Session for all Three Options:
11AM - 1PM (PST): Short Ngöndro, Guru Yoga and Q & A
This session is open all, even if not practicing the complete home retreat
Day 7: April 8th at 1PM (PST)
Join Dr. Nida Chenagtsang for a Ganapuja and closing session.

Please note that this is only a guide, and can be modified according to your needs, practice, or specific time zone. The daily guided group session is optional and is intended for those who would like extra support, group energy, and the opportunity to ask questions related to practice.
What do I need?
In order to participate in our group sessions you need is access to a computer or phone, when you register you will immediately receive an email with instructions and a link to connect to the virtual meetings.
Please have your Ngöndro pecha and Guru Yoga booklets with you so that you are able to follow along in the practice.
It is also recommended to minimize communication whether talking, engaging online, or use of cell phone and computer. Instead, it is recommended to keep a practice and dream journal during one’s retreat. A group forum will be created in which you may ask practice-related questions.

Cost of attendance:
This seven day retreat is offered free of charge, however, if you’d like to make a donation, 100% of the proceeds will go to Direct Relief and other organizations that are working hard to save lives.
Direct Relief is coordinating with public health authorities, non-profit organizations and businesses in the U.S. and globally to provide personal protective equipment and essential medical items to health workers responding to coronavirus (COVID-19).
